My Background
Passionate educator and lifelong learner, I, Christina Kreml, M. Ed have spent the past decade in the classroom as a special education teacher and at the IEP table helping ensure the best education for students by designing curriculum, writing IEPs and implementing lessons to meet the diverse needs of all students. I am confident in the ways of the public school system as it pertains to students with learning differences.
My Approach
I have taken on a new role at the IEP table, the most recent and rewarding role being a parent. Being a parent at the IEP table has been the most eye-opening learning experience as a teacher and parent advocate. Walking in your shoes, and working alongside the education system, I can help you make sure the IEP process is smooth and tailored to your child's needs. I want to make sure you are prepared, and that your voice is heard. My first IEP meeting for my daughter was daunting, and I do not want you to feel the anxiety that I felt.
